Can you tell us more about yourself?

I am Tamara, a professional photographer & videographer from the Netherlands. Together with my husband and our four-legged friend, I call beautiful Den Bosch our home. But we also lived in sunny Spain for more than 2 years, just because we felt like it! :)
As a true adventurer, it didn't take long before I turned my focus to capturing (destination) weddings! So I travel all over Europe to capture love!

After working for years as a relationship and cognitive behavioral therapist, I felt a desire to express my creative side. That's when I switched to photography and videography, as well as personal drawings and illustrations (perfect for invitations or thank you cards and frames.)

I often work with my husband, Luke, a super creative videographer with over 10 years of experience! We love to travel together and spend most of our days expressing our creativity.

Can we customize the wedding packages to our wishes?

Yes, absolutely! I understand that every wedding is unique, and I am more than happy to tailor the photo and video packages to your specific needs. Your wedding day should really feel good to you, and I am ready to help you!

Why is videography not so expensive with you?

Accepted Answer

That's because I work with my husband, a professional videographer. So I don't have to hire and pay an external videographer + we really enjoy documenting weddings together. We also often work together as a destination wedding photographer/videographer, so we travel a lot! I also edit the images from both photo and video, so I don't have to outsource that either. This is a great deal for both us and you ;) If you only book me for videography (and have already found another photographer :) then a day of videography in the Netherlands and Belgium costs approximately € 1500. For weddings in Europe" approximately: € 2500

What is your photography style?

Accepted Answer

You can of course decide for yourself what your style will be. During post-processing everything is possible and am skilled at almost all types of photography styles. In general, I shoot spontaneous, natural photos and capture the atmosphere of the day. I take the couple, the atmosphere and the style into account for each wedding, and often adjust the editing accordingly.

What I always do is remove clutter in photos, such as plugs, exit signs, cords, etc. The focus should really be on you and your location, and not on all the clutter in the front and background. Very few photographers do this and that is how I distinguish myself! My photos look spontaneous, timeless, elegant and calm, but ultimately anything is possible and you determine the style!

Are there additional costs on top of the packages?

I offer packages to ensure that no surprises come your way and to keep everything transparent. Planning a wedding is already quite a job!

For destination photography: All 3 packages include everything, including €1000 for my or our* travel and accommodation costs. We normally stay within this budget, but occasionally there may be slight overruns, and these would be additional. Rest assured, you will be notified well in advance of signing the contract, and I guarantee you will never be faced with any surprises.
We are a photo + video duo, so travel costs are not much extra if you book us together.

Question 6

Can you make us a photo album?

Accepted Answer

Of course! This is possible from €150.  For this price you will receive a high-quality 20x20 cm hardcover wedding album. This will contain approximately 15 pages and approximately 30 of the best photos from your wedding. I make the album in such a way that it looks beautiful in terms of color and styling. Do you have other wishes? Such as more pages, different type of paper, a photo on the front and/or back? That is of course all negotiable. The average price for a luxury album in a luxury storage box is €450. Feel free to ask about the options!

In which countries do you work as a destination wedding photographer?

I am a wedding photographer based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. Where I photograph weddings with great enthusiasm. But.. I also work abroad! Destination photographer and videographer for: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy , Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

If you book on time, I also work outside Europe!

What are the next steps?

Let's start by planning a (video) conversation; the most important thing is that you feel comfortable with me and my services!

1. Introductory meeting
2. Easily sign the contract digitally
3. About 3 weeks before your wedding day: a conversation about the timeline/wishes/planning. 
4. I will be at your door in time to capture your special day!

You will then receive the photos/video in a beautiful online gallery within 2 - 6   weeks! Depending on how busy I am.

Can I also book only photography or videography?

Of course! If you only want to hire me for photography or videography, that is absolutely possible. I am skilled in both wedding photography and wedding videography :)
